Tasty 'Minced Mutton Curry' (Mutton Kheema):

Minced Mutton Curry : ( Mutton Kheema )

Mutton Kheema is a slightly different recipe and give definitely better taste than the traditional mutton curry. The minced mutton curry is delicious one and worth to try it today.

Ingredients:

1. Minced Mutton - 250 Gms.

2. Onion (Small) - 100 gms.

3. Dry Coriander - ½ teaspoons.

4. Red Chilli - 3 nos.

5. Grated Coconut -4 teaspoons.

6. Ginger - 1 pc.

7. Cummin - ½ teaspoon.

8. Tomato - 1 no.

9. Cashewnut - 5 nos.

10. Salt - as required.

11. Oil - 50 ml.

12. Turmeric powder - 1 pinch.

Preparation Procedure :

Step 1. Roast the red chilli, coriander and cummin.

Step 2. Grind the coconut, cashew and the spices as the masala paste.

Step 3. Heat the oil and Fry the onions and ginger.

Step 4. Add the minced mutton and add a pinch of turmeric powder.

Step 5. Add chopped tomato and fry it well.

Step 6. Add the prepared masala paste, salt and some water then allow it to cook.

Step 7. Serve Hot.

Secret Taste Tip:

* This goes well with Puri, Chapathi or Roti.

what is minced mutton ?

minced mutton means smooth mutton (minced=മിനുസം). For making mutton minced you can rub mutton on marble floor, ammikallu(അമ്മി കല്ല്‌) and then spread coconut oil will result in minced mutton.
