How to prepare the tasty ‘Mutton Cutlet’ ?

Preparing Mutton Cutlet:

Cutlet is a wonderful snack item to enjoy, particularly at evening times. But you need to take care to bring in the special taste. You can try as follows to get such a taste.

Ingredients

1. Mutton (minced) – 250 gms.
2. Potato – 250 gms.
3. Egg – 2 nos.
4. Red chilli powder – 2 teaspoons
5. Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 teaspoon
6. Garam Masala - ½ teaspoon.
7. Maida Flour (Refined Wheat Flour) – 1 teaspoon.
8. Oil – 200 ml.
9. Coriander leaves – 2 cups.
10.Salt – as requried
11. Turmeric powder – 2 pinch.
12. Breadcrumb – 1 cup.
13. Onion – 4 nos.
14. Pepper powder - ½ teaspoon.
15. Lemon juice – 2 teaspoons.

Preparation Procedure

Step 1. Boil the potato and keep it aside for 15 minutes to dry.
Step 2. Smash the boiled potato.
Step 3. Add the lemon juice into minced mutton and salt and boil it well.
Step 4. Grind the boiled mutton without water.
Step 5. Add red chilli powder, garam masala, smashed potato into the mutton mixture.
Step 6. Now Fry the onions, ginger garlic paste, coriander leaves and add to mutton mixture.
Step 7. Seperately prepare egg (unboiled), maida, salt, pepper powder and make batter.
Step 8. Now shape the mutton mix into the required shape and dip into the egg batter.
Step 9. Now apply the breadcrumbs around. (Dip the shaped mutton-mix into the breadcrumbs, so that it sticks around closely.)
Step 10. Deep fry them.
Setp 11. Serve hot.

Secret Taste Tips:

* Add fennel seed powder (Chombu) in the Step 5, if you want.
