Preparation Procedure:

Step 1. Always clean the rice first.

Step 2. Chop the onions and tomatoes into small pieces. Add grated coconut, cinnamon, cardamom, cashewnut, garlic and cloves together and make the masala paste. Keep it seperately. The secret ingredient here is to have coconut-milk (milk extracted from grinded coconut) instead of grated.

Step 4. Slice the green chillies and clean the mint leaves and coriandar leaves and keep it ready along with chicken cut into pieces (average size).

Step 6. Also fry the ginger paste seperately and add it to the above-said masala.

Step 7. Now add chicken pieces into the masala and fry for over 5 minutes. Now keep it seperately.

Step 8. Now, In a pressure cooker, add 5 glasses of water (500 to 600 ml) and required amount of salt and allow it to boil. After that, add the fried masala and chicken. Now add the cleaned basmathi rice and stir it together.

Step 9. After it is boiled, close the cooker and apply its weight. Allow it to boil till. After 2 to 3 whistles switch the stove off.

Step 10. After 10 minutes, open the pressure cooker, mix it well once and close it. After 30 minutes, open the cooker. The tasty biriyani is now ready. Enjoy the biriyani.
